In 2015 we launched the first Tulane Takeover event in New York city and it was an outstanding success.
The goal was simple: Provide an enriching experience for current students to meet alumni, parents and professionals across all industries in cities where we have significant interest.
After New York other cities were added. We launched the first San Francisco, CA event in 2018 and welcomed the Bay Area to the ever-growing list of Tulane Takeover events.
Tulane Takeover San Francisco 2019 will feature a 2-hour networking session intended for students to meet with those professionals in the Bay Area.

Your participation is crucial to this event. Without your participation, this event cannot happen at all.
We ask participating professionals to sign-up to meet with students in an informal but structured format. Each professional will have an assigned table space with a sign denoting their company, industry and title.
Students participating in Takeover events in the past have come away from the event full of new mentors, contacts and information that has put them on the path to success.
The Tulane Takeover events are focused on networking. These are not job or career fairs.
Although they resemble those events, the professionals involved in most cases were just like you a Tulane student looking to start their career.
This is your opportunity to build your personal; professional network at an event where the focus is on you doing so.
You are expected to participate in the entire event and prep by researching the professionals attending, their companies as well as any job/internship postings their companies currently have available.
Student registration will take place in the Tulane University Handshake platform.
All event communications will take place via your Tulane email address and/or text message.
You will be asked to include your cell phone number when you register.
The list below is in real time so you will see up to the second the names of companies registered to attend:
